It's Raining, It's Pouring

Well it was another exciting day with the twins; although today we did much better with the outfit than yesterday (opting out of the two dress wearing and going for a single dress). Our morning started off to a slow start as we didn't have to be anywhere until our "party luncheon" at 11:30; yes everyone has those when they are 3, don't let your parents tell you otherwise! Today I knew that it was going to be raining so I pulled the raincoats out of the closet and laid them on the chair, well this led into looking for Kate's ladybug rain boots, which led to getting Davis's frog boots, which led to a hello kitty umbrella, which led to a bee umbrella, which led to the twins fully dressed in all three; not to mention it wasn't even really raining at this point. After a brief photo-op we loaded every juice cup, snack, blanket, umbrella, raincoat, rain boots and kid into the car. We were slightly early getting in the car but that would give me time to stop by the gas station on the way to the party. Everybody buckled and we're off...or at least at this point you would think we would be but what you don't realize is that I drove with my gas light on from Red Lobster to the park to my house back to their house all on "E"!! Yeah, you guessed it I ran out of gas!! (First time ever and thankful it was in front of the house) So, I call for help and unload each kid and their belongings out of the car; just remember all of what I just did in reverse!! Oh and if you are wondering about the "party luncheon" we were only 30 minutes late and didn't miss the "Happy Summer" to you song. I am sure tomorrow will bring just as much adventure!!
